health equity and pro bono
projects Overview

Since June 2022, I have been on Omnicom Health Group’s DEI Advisory Board, and have mentored the DEI Council at the agency level for Harrison/Star. The projects below are a combination of my health equity and pro bono work.

“LOVE LETTERS” breast cancer screening for black and Latina women

This video is part of the overarching “Color of Health” initiative, a Genentech-funded project. The purpose of this project is to encourage breast cancer screening in Black and Latina communities to increase health equity.

“Love Letters” won the New York Festivals Health Awards 2023 Silver Award for DE+I Campaign of the Year.

Black health now

As part of the OHG DEI Advisory Board, I work on creating relevant programming for the Black Health Now YouTube channel. To highlight the health disparities Black American men face related to cancer diagnoses, I recruited my brother to be a panelist as I was familiar with his story and how his case of prostate cancer (now in remission) was almost missed.

“Little Monsters”

2023 Med Ad News Finalist for “Best Non-branded Consumer”

unbranded pro bono project “Little Monsters”

This project was a med ad news finalist in 2023 in the best non-branded consumer category for increasing awareness about cardiovascular risk.

I did the voiceover work for the AI-generated news anchor.
